Grimsby win for the first time in 17 games, deservedly taking the lead just before the break. Kevin Drinkell races down the right and lashes a beauty past David Harvey from the corner of the penalty box. Grimsby continue to attack and Harvey saves well from a Kevin Moore header and a Joe Waters volley. However, it's Waters who seals the victory with a penalty after Martin Dickinson is harshly adjuged to have committed a foul.

Leeds have the better of the chances in the closing stages with Steve Cherry saving well from Andy Watson and a Frankie Gray free kick.
